American Jewish University MBA program in nonprofit management focuses on the business of running a nonprofit organization; the marketing, fundraising, financing and accounting necessary to manage and create change within the nonprofit world. Our students study and engage in the classroom, while participating in 600 hours of internships at local organizations, combining theory with practical experience in nonprofit management.

Graduate Programs in nonprofit management faculty work in a host of arenas such as philanthropy, marketing, mediation, fund development, human resources, financial investment and consulting. They bring real world experience into the classroom. AJU MBA Graduates have gone on to become executive directors, practitioners and consultants within the largest and most successful nonprofits in Los Angeles such as the Center for Nonprofit Management, Getty Museum, Los Angeles Philharmonic, United Way, Los Angeles Jewish Federation and Valley Jewish Alliance, as well as social service agencies, Jewish camping, and synagogues. This is an executive program, which allows students to continue to work during the day while studying the nonprofit world in the evening.
