Biography

Ira Schreck is the Senior Vice President of the Los Angeles Jewish Home and Senior Vice President of the Jewish Home Foundation. 

An experienced fundraising professional, Ira for sixteen years was the principal of Schreck & Associates, a non-profit consulting company.  Prior to establishing Schreck & Associates in 1995, Ira served for twelve years as Vice President for Development at the University of Judaism (now the American Jewish University) in Los Angeles and six years as Director of Israel Bonds in Boston, Massachusetts.  Ira has served on the boards of such nonprofit organizations as Brandeis-Bardin Institute, Los Angeles Hebrew High School, the Wildwood School, and most recently his synagogue Mishkan Tephilo in Venice.  This year Ira will be joining the Board of the Association of Jewish Aging Services. He is currently a lecturer in the MBA program at the American Jewish University.  Ira earned both his Bachelor of Arts and Master of Arts degrees from City College of New York.
